Son of the 11th Hour is a compelling feature film that intertwines the lives of Coptic prisoners, an African man from Ghana, and an ISIS leader, exploring themes of faith, resilience, and the impact of fatherhood. This is an English speaking film.

Soraya

Character Description: Soraya is a former nurse from the Philippines, now a teacher in Libya who was captured by ISIS. Faced with a harrowing choice, she converts but keeps Christ in her heart. As a mentor to the protagonist (the African man from Ghana), Soraya is faithful, sharp-tongued, bold, and takes life-and-death chances. Gifted with an amazing sense of humor, she brings more jokes to this serious film than any other character.

Character Description: Bishoy is a young carpenter from Egypt, working in Libya to support his family back home. Character Description: Al Barnawi is a former African prisoner from Nigeria who gained his freedom by joining the ISIS ranks. He sends money to his family and constantly tries to convince the protagonist to join ISIS, emphasizing the material benefits. Muscular and self-conceited, he has a strong African accent with an English dialect. Al Barnawi is a cold-blooded mercenary, embodying the ruthlessness and pragmatism of his choices.

African Bride/Akosua

Character Description: Black, innocent, from an African country. She was kidnapped by ISIS. She pretends to be married to the African man but is a confidante. Must have an African accent.

Character Description: Abeiko is the estranged father of the African man, originally from Ghana and now wealthy in Libya. Having abandoned his family years ago, he carries a deep sense of guilt. Despite his wealth, he is haunted by the family he left behind. Abeiko is a commanding presence, reminiscent of James Earl Jones, with a voice and demeanor that convey both authority and regret.
