Son of the 11th Hour

WHEN FAITH IS HOPE IN THINGS UNSEEN

About the Film

When a young African man searching for his estranged father in Libya becomes entwined with the fate of 20 captive Coptic men, they forge an unbreakable bond of brotherhood and faith, facing the brutalities of modern‑day slavery and religious extremism.

In the cold depths of a Libyan winter, a humble dwelling in the desert glows with warmth, laughter, and hymns sung by 20 Coptic laborers from Egypt. Their peace is shattered when extremists storm their haven, identifying them by their faith-marked tattoos. The African man’s fate intertwines with the Coptic laborers, and their shared pain and stories forge an unlikely bond.

Embarking on the journey to bring Son of the 11th Hour to life, we’ve taken a pivotal step: producing 25% of our envisioned feature film! This endeavor demanded high-quality sets, costumes, exceptionally talented actors, and six months of full-time preparation to capture the essence of our story accurately. We’re seeking additional support to extend this narrative into a full-length feature film (90 minutes), requiring a budget of $425,000 to realize our vision fully.
